Diaphragm coupling is an elastic coupling that uses the elastic deformation of the diaphragm (plate) to compensate for radial and angular deviations. There are two types: single diaphragm and double diaphragm. In order to prevent unexpected damage to the system, the correct product must be selected based on the actual situation.

In the design and production of devices that want to keep the radial deviation close to 0, single diaphragm (short type) couplings are generally used. However, this is actually an important reason for the failure. Even if you are confident about the installation accuracy, it is still recommended to use a double diaphragm (long type) coupling for servo machinery.
