※Cautions when Using Plastic Couplings

・Since they are made of plastic, theirstrength is inferior to that of metalproducts. So please take care whenhandling.

・Take care not to exceed the rated value ofthe fastening torque (given in the table) forset screws. Otherwise the thread may bedamaged, resulting in axial slip.

・Make sure to insert the shaft up todimension “B” in the dimensional diagram,but do not insert it beyond the slit.

・In your design, make sure that the peaktorque values do not exceed the allowabletorque even if the peak is transitional loadsuch as motor starting or stopping.

・You should ensure that the safety rate forthe allowable values in the table is two ormore on continuous and high speedcondition(≧3000 rpm).

・Use one GJ or G2J series coupling toconnect shafts having a small parallelmisalignment.
