※Cautions when Using Plastic Couplings

・Since they are made of plastic, their strength isinferior to that of metal products. So please takecare when handling.

・Take care not to exceed the rated value of thefastening torque (given in the table) for setscrews. Otherwise the thread may be damaged,resulting in axial slip.

・Make sure to insert the shaft up todimension“B”in the dimensional diagram, but donot insert it beyond the slit.

・In your design, make sure that the peak torquevalues do not exceed the allowable torque evenif the peak is transitional load such as motorstarting or stopping.

・You should ensure that the safety rate for theallowable values in the table is two or more oncontinuous and high speed condition(≧3000rpm).

・Use two UJ Series couplings to connect shaftshaving a large parallel misalignment.
